Valérie Trudeau, the owner of the Prescott motel, discovers a body on her property. In a town where everyone knows someone connected to the prison, she is determined to conduct her own investigation. Suspicions quickly fall on her sworn enemies: her ex, Shawn Meunier, and his father, Gilles, who runs the local cement plant. Between the arrival of a high-profile inmate and the attempted murder of one of the bikers, everyone is trying to save their own skin, but no one knows who to trust. Besides, can she trust this handsome stranger who shows up at the family motel?
